I tried rolling my own cigars the other day, and it was way more of a process than I thought. At first, I couldn’t get the leaves to sit right, and everything kept coming apart in my hands. But after a few tries, I finally got one that looked halfway decent. Lighting it up felt different — like I’d actually made something with my own effort instead of just buying it. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s what made it fun. There’s something satisfying about working with your hands, and ending up with something you can enjoy at the end.
