I was at the college soccer game this weekend, and honestly, the rain showed more fight than our team. It wasn’t just raining—it was pouring buckets, like the sky was personally offended by our playbook. By halftime the stands were so empty you could’ve counted the remaining fans without taking your hands out of your pockets. The blowout was so bad I started checking the scoreboard just to confirm it wasn’t a typo. But in the final seconds—when even the band looked ready to go home—we somehow punched in a score to avoid the shutout. Great timing, guys. Nothing like scoring when the only witnesses are a few soaked diehards questioning their life choices.
